Abstract

The present visual essay shows a timeless journey oscillating among abandoned areas and regenerated spaces, showing the transformation of cities and marginal areas toward a creative innovation achieved through artistic practice and citizens participation. A selection of ten images that resumes the experience of some urban exploration in which the deep silence of empty places melts with the intim story revealed by them and with the opportunities that arise from the community based reinterpretation and reuse of these empty spaces.
