Raíces. Recuperación de la memoria y la tradición desde la instalación artística

Abstract

Roots is an artistic installation carried out collaboratively between the neighbourhood association "Fuente Zaide" from Alcaudete and a Education and Aesthetic Research master students group at the University of Jaén. This work recalls past times, putting in value the popular culture and traditional crafts carried out in Andalusia, through craftsmanship that was part of everyday life. Pretend that this heritage that is part of our origins and therefore our collective identity, does not fall into oblivion, endowing it with artistic value and freeing it of its primitive function.
