The education of the artistic gaze through the body. A neo-materialist visual essay
Abstract
This research report approaches the artistic gaze from an aesthetic approach, where the body is shown as an inquiring, distorted and broken nucleus, to create new learnings linked to the construction of alternative visual and sensitive ideas. Devices such as scanners and printers have been the technological instruments with which the technique of this artistic investigation has been worked on, breaking the usual linear message to turn it into a different visual path, where the reader marks the way. The relationship of the body with technology, its connections and influences, is dealt with, trying to build visual ideas about the body through the relationship of fragmented images.
