Humanizing from art: sensoperceptive route proposal to know Manabí. An experimental practice with visually impaired people and university students.
Abstract
The project: "Meeting and Residency of the Performing Arts of the Universities - Humanizing from the Arts", was born in 2017 in the Promotion and Cultural Development Area of the Department of Well-being of the Lay University "Eloy Alfaro" of Manabí - Ecuador (ULEAM), in order to improve the quality of life of vulnerable communities belonging to ULEAM and the community in general. This article talks about the experiences obtained in the application of the third edition of said project, carried out in the 2019-2020 school period, which had a scope of care of 1,591 people who presented some type of vulnerability, highlighting the people blind, university students, artists and community agents, these people participated in different artistic training workshops and experiences based on the arts, which strengthened the reflection on the vocation of service from the professional careers chosen and the areas of development practiced, allowed that they put into practice the knowledge acquired in this training experience in their future praxis.
