Los primeros cuatro cuartetos los distribuí en el espacio como un rostro:
dos ojos, nariz y boca, alrededor de cada ejecutante (E1, E2, E3, E4),
inicialmente de pie, hay cuatro vértices, constituyendo una especie de
pirámide, donde hay respectivamente: superficies con diferentes texturas:
arena, grava, lodo, pasto, concreto…; instrumentos musicales: bongós,
congas, viola, violín, gong, tam tam, güiro, maracas…; objetos: trozos de
madera, vidrio, lijas, esponjas, telas…; papeles con lápices de colores,
plumones o acuarelas. Los últimos tres tipos de cosas están en unas mesas.
El ejecutante se mueve o desplaza continuamente por estos lugares,
por ejemplo toca la arena, suena las lijas, marca las hojas con acuarelas, toca
su brazo, pinta la mejilla de otro ejecutante, va hacia el lugar de un
compañero para poner un objeto que trae consigo, abraza algún
instrumento u objeto, etc. A veces los desplazamientos se hacen dando
vueltas, girando por el suelo, reptando, en cuatro extremidades; o se coloca
el cuerpo en distintas posiciones: de pie, sentado, arriba de una silla, en
cuclillas, acostado boca arriba, boca abajo o de lado; o acomodando los
brazos: cruzados, estirados a los lados, atrás, adelante, etc.; o se tirita el
cuerpo.
Es viable explorar en secuencia los objetos, de uno en uno; en
superposición, dos o más; en modulación, se está en un objeto se pasa al
segundo sin dejar el primero, luego se permanece en el segundo; o se
explora un objeto con las manos, después se toma sin dejar de explorarlo
mientras se explora (excita) un segundo objeto con el primero, finalmente
sólo en el segundo.
Algunas de las indicaciones son: para las partes del cuerpo, mi (mano
izquierda, incluye el resto de la extremidad, en este caso el brazo, así en lo
respectivo con las demás extremidades), md (mano derecha), pi (pie
izquierdo), pd (pie derecho), to (torso: pecho, estómago, espalda o costillas),
cza (cabeza: cabello, cara, cuello, nuca o movimientos faciales), cg (caderas,
glúteos); para las sensaciones, V (visual, marcar o dejar huella), T (táctil), S
(sonido, auditiva), O (olfativa), G (gustativa, probar), M (movimiento corporal
en el espacio). Los números (1, 2, 3, 4) después de las letras de las sensaciones
son el tipo de material (superficies, instrumentos, objetos, papeles) que
tomará cada ejecutante, según el orden dado en las indicaciones por escrito.
El símbolo significa pausa y continuación.
El Primer cuarteto y S1 tienen movimientos más cercanos a lo
vacilante, puede resultar intrincada su ejecución debido al tiempo en que se
